Korte samenvatting
The surprisingly savvy, lovable hero of this story Forrest Gump says: “being an idiot is no box of chocolates,” but “at least I have not led no hum-drum life,”.

As the University of Alabama’s drafts Forrest Gump for its football team, it changes his life forever.

Forrest becomes a war hero, a wrestler, a world-class ping-pong player and a business tycoon.

He compares battle scars with Lyndon B. Johnson, discovers the truth about Richard Nixon, and learns about the ups and downs of true love.
